A luxury hotel group ran its finances on fragmented legacy systems across three countries. We designed one target operating model and the migration path onto Sage Intacct.
The challenge
The group operated hotels across the UK, the Netherlands and the United States, with Sun Systems and Sage 200 running side by side. The result was inconsistent processes property to property, heavy manual reconciliation at month-end, and no single view of financial performance across the estate.
Leadership needed a finance function that worked the same way everywhere, closed faster, and gave them numbers they could trust across all seven properties.
The approach
We ran end-to-end as-is process discovery and target operating model design across Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue, Income Audit and Inventory. Cross-territory workshops with the Directors of Finance surfaced how each property actually worked, not how the manual said it should.
From that we produced BPMN swimlane process maps, pain-point registers, and systems integration mapping covering the SFTP and API connections between the finance platform and the operational estate. Every recommendation was grounded in source material and validated with the people who own the process.

The outcome
This engagement is presented anonymously to respect client confidentiality. Figures reflect the scope delivered and the operating model designed, and the migration proceeds towards go-live.
