The challenge
Compliance audits at 28 leisure facilities were run on paper. Tracking was inconsistent site to site, senior leadership had no live view of compliance, and the incumbent forms software cost £58,000 a year.
The organisation wanted consistent audits, real-time visibility, and an end to the licence bill.
The approach
We built a Power Apps mobile audit system on a SharePoint backend, using the organisation's existing Microsoft estate rather than adding another vendor. Auditors scan a QR code to open the right zone, work through risk-based routing that adapts to what they find, and submit from the floor.
Power Automate handles the follow-through: high-risk findings trigger automated alerts to facility managers, and every submission feeds a live compliance dashboard for senior leadership.
